Hydraulic Seals
Chennai Seals & Spares is one of the largest stockists and dealers of Hydraulic Seals, Industrial Hydraulic Seals, Pneumatic Seals, Corrosion Resistant Seals and Static Flexible Seal, which are best in quality, reliability and durability. These Hydraulic Seals and Pneumatic Seals generally describe a class of seals used in reciprocating equipments. Hydraulic Seals are exposed to Hydraulic Fluids (hydrocarbon, phosphate ester, etc.), while Pneumatic Seals are exposed to air (with minimal lubrication).
These Seals made at high pressure are corrosion resistant used for various purposes and applications. Hydraulic Seals use a liquid oil-based compound that is enclosed by a containing material and a cylinder that holds the seal together. These seals help in preventing leaks in just about any type of hydraulic system cases. Common industries that use hydraulic seal technology include aerospace, automotive, government, medical, oil, gas, sanitary, and other industries that use heavy equipments. Commonly used Hydraulic Seals include: U-Cups, Vee, flange packing, W piston, rod seals and cup-shaped seals. These Seal are available at lower cost. Hydraulic seals are generally placed in cylinders to ensure the seals perform a back-up function in case one of them fails.
We are dealer and stockist of different types of common connectors for Hydraulic Seals such as port, tube-end, and hose-end connectors that make sure the fluid remains in the seal. Most Hydraulic Seals are generic and can be re-used for different applications. Hydraulic Seal works even at a low operating pressure and is differentiated on the ground of its sealing orientation and specification. During selection of Hydraulic Seals, some important thing must be considered such as the outer and the inner diameter of the seal, the housing bore diameter, the thickness, the radial cross section, the operating speed, the operating pressure, the temperature, and the vacuum rating. It is made from different types of materials which are- nylon, ethylene acrylic and polyurethane to bronze, cast iron, felt and leather.
One of the common problems faced in Hydraulic Seal is leaking of oil and other compounds from the seal. Everyday instances of faulty Hydraulic Seals cause damage to motors and components and can also make for unsafe conditions for operators of the equipment. Try not to expose the seals to temperatures that are outside of normal operating conditions. In addition, make sure the materials surrounding the hydraulic portion aren’t subjected to cracking or inappropriate torque.
Rod Seals From a standard Polyking™ U-Cup to a seal that will withstand liquid hydrogen at temperatures ranging from -450F to +540F, or one that will hold up in a 120,000 psi quasi-static pulsing environment, or one that can withstand a high PV dither at 4000 psi, Seal Science stands ready to meet your rod seal needs. For almost all designs and using materials ranging from Nitriles to Perfluoroelastomers and from PTFE or Teflon® to polyamides, put us to work on your rod seal challenges:

Piston Seals
The demand on Piston Seals depends upon the operating conditions for which they have been chosen. In a cylinder which is exclusively single-acting, choose the type of seal designed to provide the thinnest possible lubrication film that can pass through the contact area between the seal and the cylinder tube surface. In a double-acting cylinder, the piston design where two single-acting seals on the piston for a double-acting cylinder are used with integrated or separate back-up rings and guide rings. The ultimate choice must be based on the operating conditions of the cylinder. Our company deals and stock number of the giant brands like NAK, NOK, PARKER, ASTON and HALLITE.
